- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪The female surgeon there seemed okay at first but I couldn't stop crying during the (pre) surgery process. I'd told them I'd never had a surgery in my life but if course because I am autistic they tried to send me to the University of Iowa instead of considering never having surgery. I moved my surgery to Dr. Alts because of the ableism inherent in this office and Dr. Alt himself said I did better than the majority of teens he had dealt with, so it obviously was not my autism. The only reason this places gets a two is because the receptionist was at least at little accommodating to my situation.September 21, 2017by Hailey Teusink
