  We will not use Allstate or their agents moving forward. The experience we had with this group and their underwriters is deplorable at best. Lack of communication, lack of follow-up, and lack of accountability are things that happened to us when working with them. I requested insurance quotes for several properties in the Dubuque area. They provided a quote which took time since they had to go through an underwriter. The dialogue had insinuated due diligence was completed prior to the commit of a quote. I even paid for the first bill. I validated everything was covered and set up for payment. More than a month later I get a letter in the mail from the insurance company they positioned (not a phone call from this agency) that coverage is cancelled due to issues with the structure that had very little verbiage. My wife had to call in to get additional information. They (not the Allstate Agent) showed up to inspect without informing me, so I can provide tenants 24 hour notice in advance. I am not sure who was supposed to inform me, which made things more frustrating. Sure Stacy (Allstate Agent) had no idea either, but why would an agency position a company to a client that they have issues communicating with. In my case, it's obvious the focus wasn't on the client. What a shame.
